Commission staking and gp price

Now that commission staking is gone do you think the price of osrs gp will rise or fall and why

 

depends honestly, it should be going up due to christmas. However most people who buy gp gambled it away and ended up buying more. It all goes by supply/demand if the demand is down due to no1 staking then it should drop overall.Will see i know someone dumping 10b right now cuz hes scared jagex completely fucked the game.

 

I think it will rise around christmas time, commission staking is still allowed, just not in organised fcs.

 

Im going to say 07 should boost quite a bit, w/o commission stakers selling gold the supply will obv be less(law of supply and demand)


and with Christmas the demand increases leading me to believe 07 gold will only rise from now until Christmas.

 

lol have you ever taken a basic economics class? Higher prices lead to an expansion of short run aggregate supply. Seeing as there really is no long run economics in the runescape market, things have to be taken into account by short run economics. When short run supply decreases, the average price level also decreases.

But of course this isn't taking into account the demand. The price is going to be dictated by demand. If demand increases due to christmas time, while the supply further decreases, the price level changes will cancel each other out resulting in really no big difference.

I think it could go either way.

While those commission stakers sold a lot of gold, they also bought a lot, and also for buyins, and so did people who used it to gamble with them.

How did they take out Commission staking? did they ban the fcs?

 

It's not allowed anymore. The FC's can and probably will be banned if they continue commission staking.
