Getting 2 xbox's to an Open Nat type?

    Hey guys,

Me and my younger brother have had 2 xbox's for awhile. His Nat type has always been on strict while mine has been open, because I know how to port forward and such.

(For those who don't know, a Nat Type determines who you can and cannot connect to on Xbox Live.)

I always told him that there was something wrong that I didn't know how to fix it.

Then our internet began having problems. When our ISP sent a tech out to our house, my brother asked him how to fix it. The Tech explained that ports can only be forwarded once, so it's pretty much the first person to get on the router will get the open nat.

So now, my brother is constantly asking my mom if he can restart the router so he can have the open nat. The only problem is, is that he can connect to his friends with this nat type, while I cannot. He doesn't get this and just likes the Open status I guess.

I've searched google and I see that it is possible, but I was wondering if a Techy person on Sythe could explain it to me more in detail?

    Thanks in advance

well an option is getting a wireless adapter but it is pricey. personally I have two open xbox at my house. one on wifi and one directly connected to the router. I can't hook up both to the router because it is located in a small room. But it shouldn't give you problems as long as you port to the correct IP's twice.
