Get money back in Paypal?

Hey all,

Well, it would seem as if Illegal Socks has ripped me off.

Before I report him, however, I'd like to get my money back. How would I go about getting my money back?

 

If he has scammed you then you may attempt to charge back the money. I can't really assure you exactly how the charge back will go, as it really just depends on the case. Also what did you send the money as? (Gift/Goods/Services)

I wouldn't really recommend you to try and get your money back until you have filed a scam report, and have it approved. If not the person that scammed you could actually get you banned for wrongfully doing a chargeback.

I actually tried to get the account back today, and was successful, but only for it to get locked up yet again.

 

To be honest I would contact skele if are still planning on trying to get the money back. He is very familiar with all the rules, and should be able to help you out. He is also usually fairly fast with his replies unlike some other globals/mods. Good luck!
