Pure Range Question

Hey I just recently started a pure range and have not leveled any other combat stats up except for Range, and obviously HP. I currently have 47 range. My question here is, I'm wondering what are the best stats for a pure range, or possibly a pure tank? Can anyone help me out with this please?

 

70 def 85-99 range and +82 magic ice blitz or barrage. u better get like 90 ranged 82 magic and u will own or tank with 70 def if u get 99 ranged and 99 magic u will pwn all also if u making this just get 70 def +75 range and sit at iron-steel drags till u get 99 range so i think u will get visage 100% bum and money for pking

 

What would be the ideal combat of my guy though if I got mage and defense that high as well? Also, should i start training my range long range so it levels up my defense as well?

And anything about prayer?

 

If you won't use mage then there's not really a point of having it above 60 imo. Also try to aim for about 70+ range

 

Thanks for the advice. Also I heard from someone that since I'm only training range, that whatever level I get it to, I can get Str, att, and mage to that level as well without leveling up combat. Is this true?

Am I doing something wrong by training nothing but just range at this point? I'm almost at 50 range. Any help would be appreciated.

 

use combat calculator type in him 99 rang 99 mage 70def and then str att and look what levels u can have.

Well i know on a str pure if you don't level str while training range it wont affect cb only lvls you will get is from hp. So i think its both the same
