Market Crash

Today the Bitcoin and Altcoin market crashed quite a bit. The value of many altcoins are dropping a considerable amount. I am new to investing in altcoins, but I believe this might be the best time to begin investing because I have faith most of the market will recover and flourish during the next few weeks.

Is anyone else looking to invest today?

What altcoins are you going to purchase, and why?

I have invested into Verge and Cloak coins.

Reasons for Verge:

• The basics of having a brand name has value in my opinion.
• Great marketing.
• It is a decentralized currency.
• Their developers are very active in their community.
• Their price has a lot of room to increase since it is only at $0.003252 with a $43,602,240 market cap.
• Right now it is at a really low price after the market crash.

Reasons for Cloak:

• Same technology as Monero, except better privacy strength and solves Monero's vulnerabilities.
• Cloak $17,466,433 market cap compared to Monero $731,612,758 market cap.
  
• Cloak $3.48 vs Monero $50.05
  
• Their developers are very active in their community.
• Lots of new investors during the past few months.
• Continuous updates, potentially open source in the very near future.

I don't like moochers. Simple as that. Some might be nice enough to offer you insight, but your lack of substance kills me haha.

 

No one is asking for a handout. I am asking for advice as a new trader. I have spent the last week researching coins nonstop after turning a 3x profit on my original investment into an altcoin. It interested me enough to start investing a much larger amount, and I know this community is filled with very knowledgeable individuals when it comes to Bitcoins because they have been a part of this community since 2011 if not earlier. I am here to gather opinions from those individuals on their investments, so I can make better decisions instead of throwing my money away.

I do not have time to read and respond to your arrogance. It is waste of time for both of our time. If no one wants to give me their opinion on the market, then they do not have to reply in my thread. If you do not like my questions, avoid me. It is simple. Do not post in my threads, do not respond to me. Keep your unwanted opinions to yourself.

If it makes you feel better, I have added my investments and their reasons. Although, I might exchange out of them if I find larger potential in another altcoin.

I personally invested in NEM, NAV, and GRC.

I got into NEM at .12 for 5000 and am waiting on the release of Catapult in 2017 to boost the price nicely, you can read about the addition of it in the white pages.

For NAV I got into it for 10,000 at .19 and I really enjoy the user friendliness of the apps and wallets. It makes it very easy for others that aren't into crypto to be able to use, it has risen to .45 as of recently so I am just riding the wave till $1 mark to sell of and buy into another.

GRC has been an interesting one for me, it is a research BOIC coin that helps with research projects for good causes. The coin itself has been around for 3+ years and has just started to gain traction as of recently, I bought 50,000 at .1 and so far it has just hit the .11 mark but has slightly dropped in the last day to .86. It's largest competitor is Golem which I think is over-rated but that's another story. GRC has some great projects and is also for a good cause, if Universities or other institutions would get on board then it could most definitely boom. This is a long term hold, expecting it to hit .25-1.00 within the year if it keeps up the growth model that it's been going at.

Alts are my market, and so far I've turned a pretty good profit on my original investment but you have to decipher between a pump and dump shitcoin and a genuinely good pick that will offer something new to the market.

I will most likely buy in for another 5000 nem if the price remains below the .30 mark and hope that Catapult releases on schedule for a huge increase in gains. The marketing side is a little off as far as PR but I still have faith, and the investment isn't to large that it is worth letting it sit for a while.

 

Great reasons to pick those altcoins. The NEM really does interest me with the Catapult happening so soon. I might purchase a stack while it is still at .20 due to the crash.

It seems like a lot about making money via altcoins is determining useful coins vs the shitcoins.

 

Yup, deciding which is a shitcoin is half the battle but these days sometimes you might be right, and sometimes you might be wrong.

If your lucky sometimes you will get into a pump and dump coin at the start for dirt cheap and still be able to eat off the profits that happens when it goes up crazy percentages.

 

Everything crashed again today. It is a great opportunity to stock back up on coins!

I think it's almost time to start whipping out that check-book and purchasing some more crypto!

 

Bitcoin went down to $2050 dollars today for Coinbase, yet is already back to $2396.99. If anyone wants to purchase Bitcoin before it heads back up to the $3000 mark, this will be your opportunity. Keep in mind, most altcoins are crashed because of the Bitcoin price drop. This is a perfect time to purchase Bitcoin, then invest it into a promising altcoin.

 

If you sold ur alts/bitcoin, you are a sheep.

Do yourself a favor and buyin when it crashes.

 

I agree, I actually put another 5,000 into it last night on all 4 of my main alts. The rebound will be so sweet.
