How to unclog your computer

You pissed off at the amount of crap that starts up when you log into your computer?
Or maybe it's just running REDICULOUSLY slow.

Well don't worry if the things you are about to do don't fix it, then there's something else is wrong.

Step 1:
Getting rid of the crap that pops up when you log in.

Start menu>Run> type msconfig> go to the Startup Tab

You will get a list of EVERYTHING that opens when you start your computer. By checking off a little box, you can stop it from running when you start your computer!
What if you don't know what one of the programs is?
My advice, google it. Seriously, that usually solves the problem.

Step 2:
Deleting your temporary files.
My suggestion is to go to google and search up CCleaner.
What this small computer program does is get rid of all the bits of random junk lying around your computer. Usually, after not running this for 2 months, I collect 200MB of junk. IT WILL NOT DELETE ANYTHING IMPORTANT.

Step 3:
Defragging your hard-drive.
Ever play that game where there are a lot of facedown cards and every time you flip 2 over and try to match them? Well wouldn't it be alot easier if the same cards were right beside each other?
Well, in the beginning when you download a program, the cards are right beside each other. That's how your computer opens a program, it gets the two cards. But overtime, as you do different things, the cards get scattered and it's harder to find the cards!

MAKE SURE YOUR COMPUTER DOES NOT SHUT DOWN DURING THIS PROCESS.

Very basic, it looks as if you have put little to no effort into this guide at all. I find it to be very bland, and short. I suggest you add photos to make it more appealing to the eye, as well as colour. You should add information on the programs; "Ccleaner/Disk Defragmenter" about what they are and can be used for.

Doesn't anyone use the search button these days? If you hadn't already noticed, there are about 903902852 guides on speeding up your computer. Do your research before you make the guide to make sure you aren't wasting your time.

Their have been many guides on this topic and each have been much better then this. We cleared the section so it would be free for new things although this ruins the point.

Maybe try to rewrite this.
