VISTA USERS RIGHT CLICK THE KEYGEN FILE AND RUN AS ADMIN OTHERWISE IT WONT WORK!!!!
Go back to that Sony Vegas folder in the downloads folder. Go into the keygen folder then Highlight the keygen file then ctrl+c and then open C:\Program Files\Sony\ Vegas Pro 8.0. Open the keygen file in the Sony\Vegas Pro 8.0 folder A screen will come up along with some pretty sexy music. This is one of the trickiest bits so don't skip ahead and do EXACTLY what I tell you. Click on the small triangle pointing down and select Vegas Pro 8.0 a(I know its c).
Click the button generate a few times, now press patch and then open C:\Program Files\Sony \Vegas Pro 8.0 click on the folder not one of the file. Make sure to not press generate after you have patched it otherwise ur screwed.
DO NOT PATCH THE FOLDER SONY SETUP!
Patch this folder and your all set.

DON'T PRESS GENERATE AFTER YOU HAVE PATCHED OTHERWISE YOU WILL FUCK IT UP
Open the sony vegas shortcut make sure you still have keygen up.
Enter your serial number that you got on your keygen.
It will come up with register online or register from another computer. Click register FROM ANOTHER COMPUTER. It will download a random file dont worry about this. Make sure you still have your keygen screen up. Now you can fill your real details in our fake details it doesn't matter. I do real details because they come default with it. When you've done you will need to click on the last box.

You can get the trial version for free, but downloading it (the full version/cracks, etc) means it's warez isn't it?

I believe warez are against the rules, not trying to be a mod or anything sorry.

Great guide overall though, plenty of pictures which is good as most people tend to find things easier to understand with pictures, 9/10, I might suggest you take this off (if it is against the rules).
