Is this laptop good for RS/LoL?

I need a laptop that can play RS and League at low settings while maintaining a somewhat good fps (40+), and also for schoolwork for around $300-$400. I don't really know that much about computers, and I know that building a desktop is cheaper and better, but I want to buy a laptop to take it to places.

Is this laptop good?

 

That is high spec so it should run them fine, as well as your school work.

 

This is more than enough! If you want to save money I would suggest getting a lower model because if all you want to do is play runescape and do school work then save your self some extra $$$ and go for a bit less expensive laptop. But if you really want this labtop then knock your self out and go with your gut!

 

It'll play runescape half-assed, LOL on the other hand I am fairly iffy about. Its one of the lower end mobile amd processors, so the integrated graphics won't exactly have optimal performance for gaming either.

My opinion: look elsewhere

That is a very good build. Make sure everything is compatible! I bought a GTX 650 which was not compatible with my processor, so I had to spend an extra $300 to get one.

I think you should be able to run them fine. I'd say computers are in the long run better than laptops though, not sure if you're interested in purchasing in a computer though.

 

If you build the desktop,It should be more than enough to run the games fine
As for the laptop,Itll run but may be a bit choppy unless at lower settings.
Im using a 2 year old toshiba satellite laptop with 2.4 ghz i7. I only got a laptop because i like to move it around my house

 

If should run both games fine.

Don't get windows 8.. lol ot fucking blows. I spent 800$ on a laptop running windows 8 and I sold it 2 weeks later for 500$ and bought a windows 7. Lol just my opinion but I swear windows 8 is like satins spawn

If you don't have more cash to spend or just don't want to, go for it.
