iPhone 5

Since all of you guys ( I guess?) watched that release of the iPhone 5!
Give me your opinions, should I buy it?

 

Well the iPhone 5 is 4G compatible so it should be awesome, internet will be so much faster. It's supposed to be a lot lot better but you have to weigh up the cost.

What phone are you using atm? If you've got an iPhone 4 then I'd probably just stay stick with that if you're happy with it However, if you're going to actually use the extra features then get it. 3G is decent enough but 4G is supposed to be great... 10x faster supposedly.

But seriously, it feels like they just pump these out every year. The most successful moneyscheme the world has probably ever seen.

 

Lol... They do seem to pump these out rather quickly. But people will just keep buying as it's one of the greatest inventions of all time .

My galaxy s2 kicks ass, and I hear the s3 is even better. If I wanted to be like everyone else I would get an iPhone, but they look so gay.

I've got the 4 (Moh<3) but, I'm planning on picking this up. I'm off contract and I honestly don't care for Android OS. I've got a Mac at home and everything syncs up perfectly, and I'm just used to it by now. The iPhone 5 doesn't have nearly enough innovations that I feel like it should be to remain a competitor for a year, let alone a month or two, but I feel like the OS makes up for it in my book.

We all know Apple is a money hungry corporation and pumps out these inferior phones each year, and we're all dumb enough to buy them.

 

just one example I found, and the two the iPhone won were basically reaction times.

 

Wow, the earphones look weird and the charging/connector cable is unique compared to the previous version.

However the screen is larger and the chipset much quicker.

But for it's current market price, I'd say wait it out unless money isn't an issue.

 

Man all people say it sucks because they expected something like Siri. I mean a big change like the one from 4-4S, it wasn't big in my opinion but, it was fine.
This time it's like nothing to add, they added basic shit buy improved hardware(quad cpu?) and everything.. I like the screen it's 4-inches. And the resolution is SO HIGH

 

Same price as 4S

 

But honestly, who cares how long it takes their phone to turn on, considering most of us either never turn it off unless we are told to, or we charge it at night so it rarely dies.

Also, the loading of the desktop site would be dependent on the carrier's connection. The 5 will have a single chip 4G LTE & improved WiFi connectivity, and the new A6 processor is 2x faster than the current one in the 4S, so we would definitely expect a decrease in website loading time.

 

I'm hung behind the decision as well. I have the iPhone 4S but I don't get the option to buy another phone until my contract is up around March or so.

Means I either buy the iPhone 5 in the spring, and not be able to get the iPhone 6 in the coming Fall, meaning I'd be stuck waiting for the iPhone 7.

Or I wait to buy the iPhone 6 in a year. I wonder if it will be worth waiting for the 2013 iPhone

 

isn't the only difference that it's lighter, thinner, and has a screen that's 1/3 inches bigger?

S3 isn't better than iPhone 5, just for fact.

 

They never made any big steps like I thought they would, not even NFC. What facts make the S3 worse than the Iphone? I think they are still pretty evenly matched.
