Explanation of the trade: I wanted to buy the name Groot. Offer was 200m and traded the "fake" middle man named rael and accepted the trade then he asked for auth and I was stupid enough to provide it to him. He got on my account and then asked for ransom money to not drop items over. I declined the ransom and he took the money and items off my account and ran.
How they scammed: Took my money and items off of an account he was supposed to be name transferring too and did not do the transfer.

why are you linking my vouches or my discord profile since someone who claimed It was you made me pm you, I did good pm and you didnt even read you just asummed you were talking to the right person. please erase my info cause this is degrading and I dont really want my name in this section.

Also I would like to point out that this kind of situation is problematic, you guys need to fix the way people can pm each other or confirm a trade specially since this bullshit called Discord Nitro which is causing all of this trouble what a bunch of unconsiderate assholes in all honestly letting people easily impersonate someone for 5$ a month. Im mad, Cause all I do All Day is sending pms to imposter's victims and aparently it happened for the first time. that 0.0001% of people who doesnt read the PM Also I dont even have a middleman Thread, you should also verify that. none of what happened here today are the proper manners of trading, PLEASE READ, AND PLEASE MAKE SURE OF EVERYTHING, BE SAFE.

 

You were scammed by an impostor @QRCS. This user targets the name thread and specifically new users that request a name that they want. The confirmation PM doesn't match your profile (You aren't Galaxy), you need to actually read it and confirm or it does nothing.

@Rael - There is not much more we can do. Users have to educate themselves on the platform they choose to trade on. If users do not read the stickies and warnings we have up, they will learn the hard way.
