Can PM's be moderated?

Can private messages be moderated or used against you? I mean if they are called private messages, shouldn't they be allowed to be private? Nothing has happened to me concerning private messages, however i was just curious.

If scamming was involved I would be all for checking private messaging. However if you're having a heated discussion or arguement via PM's could that be moderated if the second party complained about it?

I know moderators can see them, but I don't imagine they check without a request or reason.

You will be fine if you're not breaking any rules or harassing someone, etc.

 

If someone reports the PM's.

All Sythe rules still apply though, but you're less likely to get caught using PM's and most likely won't unless, like I said, someone reports them.

 

Also if someone is bothering you, you can block them instead of responding

 

Interesting topic, I think if they are called private miss really shouldn't be able to access them lol, unless scamming is involved fuck those kids

 

Report the PMs in which someone committed an offense and a moderator can read/act on them.

 

I can tell you from experience that sectionals are not able to see the PM's people send unless you report them.

I assume the same would be true of Globals. I don't know about Admins though.
