Funny story that most wont believe

This happened probably 2 years ago now, and i am sure most people will not believe it actually happened but it did.

I wanted to make a new pure on oldschool so I went and created an email account first, it was something like.. "[email protected]"... and then i went on oldschool runescape to create the account with the email, and it said that the account was already created. So i went to try to recover the account to the email address, and it actually worked. The most suprising part was when i logged into the account because it was a pretty much maxed pure, it had no bank pin, and 300m+ bank. I then tried doing this wall the way up to like "[email protected]" and got a couple different accounts, but none were even near as good as the pure.

Has anyone else ever done this? How is it even possible? Im thinking you can create an account on runescape, and just enter any email address even if you dont have access to it, because Jagex dont make you verify?
