Paypal Help D:

So yesterday I made an RSGP gold sale of 375m for $300 over paypal. The purchaser was AirGuru who is now temp banned (go figure).
Today, I wake up to my paypal with a negative $250 balance on it. He disputed it. I talked to paypal and that because it is intangible goods, he will end up winning the case.

So I have really lost any hope of getting my money back, but I have some questions. I requested a $320 check before he claimed the money and before I had a negative balance. I am not quite sure what will happen to my balance/check/paypal. If they do send the check, if I try to cash it, will I not be able to? Will I get in trouble for trying to cash it because my balance is negative? Should I delete my paypal all together or would I somehow be stuck with this $250 charge? If I did delete my paypal, would I ever be able to make another one with my same name/adress and be able to get it verified?

Really I just need some advice of where to go from here. If anyone could help, even with just one question, it would be GREATLY appreciated as this has put me out of business for the time being.

 

You have a right to also dispute his claim. Show screenshots of the sale, show the conversations you had with him before and after the sale. Make sure you point out in your conversations him saying "thanks" or something along those lines. That's his confirmation of obtaining the goods.

Why would you have negative 250 btw? Did you manage to spend $250 in one night right after you made the sale? If you didn't spend any of that money, your PP balance should just even itself out and you'll only be out a few hundred million GP.

Deleting your PP account won't fix the problem since it is tied to your bank account. It will appear as overdrawn. My best advice for you is to quick try to make a ton more GP and sell that or sell accounts until you've made up your losses. Use PlayerAuction or Western Union or PP with trusted members of this forum to reclaim your losses if it comes down to that.

If they send you a check, DO NOT CASH IT. Tear it up and burn it and reply to them that you tore up the check. This will reset your balance by $320 (assuming they took it out of your balance in the first place). This should put you at +70$ if that's the case and the check is why your balance is negative.

And my paypal isn't attached to my bank. I am non-verified atm. But yeah, the check is what put me negative. Hopefully I can clear that up and I will atleast be positive and set back up

Awesome, just send them a message and tell them "I'm not going to cash this check, I'm going to destroy it to regain a positive balance on my account." They should verify this (or maybe even put a stop-check order on the check) and bring your account back to equilibrium.
