I didn't realize Taric was back on the support map as well. His new rework must be OP as hell.

 

Rammus is EXTREMELY strong. We need more goddamn bans.

How does Rammus even farm atm? :l

Old skool rammus clear time was OP for clears, I haven't bothered playing him since his changes apparently.

 

He does pretty well I played him today - still has solid ganks which is the main thing

 

I guess the point is he doesn't need to spam farm camps anymore. He can easily catch up when he's 2 levels behind based on the xp scaling of camps.

 

He has a pretty good clear time imo. He makes up for it in the time it takes to get to each camp also. But yes you're right, he can catch back up quickly if he falls behind.

 

Tried him, it was fine but the clears were definitely slow. Having to rush a Spirit of the Golem really kinda hurts his clears from what I had before. The choice is either lose out on a lot of gold by rushing sunfire, or lose out on a lot of clear by rushing golem. I'll have to experiment with masteries.

The lategame was stupid though, his W has been buffed like hell since before. Even though I was probably 2-3k behind in gold, I would still jump in and pop W and and end up with 250 MR and 400 armor... Then their carry would insta-die simply from her own damage. The equivalent value in gold for 120 MR and Armor is stupid.

 

Actually, the win rates on mumu, sej, and rammus haven't changed much.

 

As far as I'm aware, Rammus has been well over 50% since forever [one of my mains is why I recall looking at his stats before].

Is in top5 win rate champs in Bronze - Diamond, top10 in Challenger [if I recall well].

 

rammus has been used as support with the relic thing, same as amumu in upper elos.

 

i cringe when i see azingy playing ammu or rammus. they have heavy jungle presence and a decent clear. shits cray

 

Rammus has consistently been amongst the highest win rate champs in plat-diamond for a while now.

 

Taric is definitely one of the best supports right now, he gets tanky as hell with all of the gold available to him now.

 

its not even the fact that he's tanky. its the fact that he scales from armor and health now so he does stupid damage and heals for a shit ton with a fotm and randuins

 

Taric was always really strong in lane (with the heal, passive bonus armor to his carry, and his targetable stun), it makes sense that now he can leave lane with an item or two makes him really strong.

 

Taric was a bottom tier support until the patch. It makes sense that a champ like that either has to be OP or underpowered though.

 

he was pretty bad since I think it was like 3.9. the changes to him and the buffs to others significantly diminished how often you see him in-game. even in high diamond right now you don't see him too often but when you do its pretty gimicky. he can easily 2v1 botlane.

 

I specifically meant in lane. He was good at peeling and even initiating if you had a good jungler presence. His shatter did a good amount of burst, and he could get a more lategame ADC farmed pretty well while still being safe.

I agree he became really bad out of lane, and his laning presence was even worse.

 

Taric will be so strong in this meta, try rushing a FH before minute 20 and you'll have less than 3 deaths before the game ends (if you didn't went full derp ofcourse).
