should i mine or just buy the ore and smith

just recently purchased an account with 99 mine and 96 smithing. never had an account with anything 99 before so this is badass =)

can i make good money buying runite ore and just smithing arm
or mine it =x and take forever then smith it. just wondering wat the money factor was compared to speed?
btw it has 99 agility aS WELL!

 

Mining yourself makes you money, buying and smithing makes you lose money. If you're rich, just buy the ore.

 

Making runite bars doesn't really make you anything.

Mining runite is a good way to make money. Around 300k an hour, but it depends on whether you get lucky or not. Many do this and there is not many ores in the game.

I would just go to LRC and mine gold ore. I made around 150k - 200k an hour while getting 50k experience an hour.

 

Runite ore spawns to slowly to be considered "good money"

I would just buy the gold ore and smelt (with gold gauntlets of course) it OR make addy plates til 99.
The time you take to mine it isn't worth it.

No. You can use kminer with world hopping to make "good money" with it.

 

tbh i could care less about it the smith cape. im not a skiller at any means i just didnt know if it was good loot to smith. didnt even realize it had 99 theiving as well lolz. thanx guys appreciate it. ive never botted before but i might start with another 1 of my accounts but peeps saying jajex is gonna drop a ban hammer soon so ima hold off thanx tho got wat i needed

 

Even hopping worlds.
As you said, kminer and other bots have the option to mine rune + hop worlds.
Means many others are doing it, slowing down the rate of rune ore/hour|gp/hour
