Wow. I never knew until recently that Finn was the biggest asshole of all time. Fuck im clueless.

My god, I'm new and not sure who Finn is other then an ex-admin.
This thread informed me of a lot of stuff, and my thoughts have changed. Debating on downloading this PDF but not sure as this post took enough time as it is.
"FireZ is just an incompetent, Sythe calls him ''stupid'' behind his back but thinks he is worthwhile because of how much time he invests." I thought this was just a ridiculous statement. Sythe would not promote someone to Administrator without knowing they'd be competent to get the job done, yeah?

 

Download it if you want, although it's mostly exaggerated or just a load of shit. As for the Sythe and FireZ thing, if Sythe or any admin has a problem with another, I'm pretty sure they would deal with it in a professional manner, rather than just call them names behind their back. Plus Sythe always asks other Administrators' opinions when he's considering a new admin. Trust me, FireZ wouldn't be an admin if he didn't deserve it. And to be honest it sounds like something a person would say in school in order to start up hate or drama amongst a group of people.

Yes it's a waste of time, this entire thread and the other one only had to be made otherwise the rumours that would float around from this ebook could be quite dangerous to the site if gone unanswered. Feel free to have a read though, I'd say about 10% maybe is actually true or has been changed in some form.

Yes, but it was being advertised as a huge scandal being brought to light. That's why it was necessary to share here.

 

Its not an accusation its a well known slanderous statement, and yes you can "leak" the answers because there is no copyright on libel (written slander). The author doesn't own their work because their work is malicious and not true.

If a source makes up fictitious information about the government it wouldn't reach anything more than a tabloid. If the government makes up a libelous book about you and sells it you have a right to give it away for free because it is not copyright or original work.

It is in fact rather childish to be offended that someone leaked libel rather than be offended that someone actually attempted to sell libel, responding to libel with facts and proof to discredit the libel is an appropriate response from a reasonable adult and it shows the author as nothing more than a child.

 

After reading about all this drama, I am no longer in the defense of Finn.
On a site note, I never knew that Syed and Ryan had such prestige on this site

Not that I care about what really goes on behind the scenes, the legality of Sythe / the donation system or the dribble that comes out of Finn's mouth, but it was sad to be caught in the Spyike drama, even if I did archive a thread which now seems rather relevant.

I would still like to know who hard deleted 'Skillers FTW' and for what reason, as it was total power abuse. Unsure as to who was in the admin team at the time. Glad to know the event wont ever occur again though, thanks for the thread Govind.

EDIT: Also thanks to Matthew for recrediting this account with what I had donated on my old account.

EDIT2: I thought Blondi was a bit of a strange event, considering at the time nobody knew who the fuck he was. Crazy!

 

Your original account was deleted during the mass purge of all Sythe.org accounts that were members of Spyike's site.

I agree, that was a blatant and shameless abuse of power.

Yeah, it's pretty much all exaggeration. Finn was good with his words and was able to talk in a way that made other people listen.

The majority of it is (The parts that are actually real), Finn has been an administrator for quite some time and kept quiet. Now he's banned he releasing all he can because, well, there are no repercussions.

Any reasons why only select accounts were banned? Myself and many others weren't.
