People almost have adapted...half the people choose not to use their brains in everyday life.

Interesting thought you have there... It may be possible to control larger organs like heart pace etc but to the cells, maybe not.

Heck no lol. You're talking about that scientists idea of evolution. Can't remember his name but he said that humans advance towards perfection and I believe this is not possible. We will only be able to adapt as far as God plans it. 'nough said.

At times, yes. We have full control over are body only when we need it most.
We wont have full control over are body when we least expect it.

I know what your saying but im not talking about the body itself. Im talking about the ability to someday control our brain to a point in which we can do things with our body we couldnt have done before.

For example, through meditation you can learn to control your body heat, heart pace and nervous systems. Im not talking about perfecting our body itself, but perfecting our mind by learning. The minds of humans have evolved. Cavemen werent building computers although they had the capability to.

Ahh, I understand what you are saying. But we as humans can only evolve from our mistakes. That is what we learn from. It would take a very long time to be able to do that although it is very possible. The fact that we are human and curious and a species that is ignorant and want to break every boundary no matter the consequences make me believe what you are saying as possible.

Nope. We'd all die if we could control ourself. How would we sleep and continue to breathe ect. Not possible and if it was, it would be very dangerous... if you could somehow remove the natural instincts we have ie blinking, breathing, would it be possible to sleep?

while i dont think the abilities all listed in the OP are possible, monks have been able to do alot of things previously thought impossible.. While the "we only use 5% of our brains" myth is just that a myth we do not use our brains to the full capacity. It would be realllly interesting to see what the human brain is capable of when used to its full capacity
