VPS requirements?

I'm looking into getting a VPS.

I've got a few questions about them, though.

What's the minimum specs I'd be looking at to run a bot reasonably? I'd only be running one at a time, so I don't need to be able to run 2+ at once, but I dunno just how much RAM I need to run it.

I've found burst.net, which has pretty reasonable prices, I was thinking of the 2nd package, but ideally if the 1st one offers a good enough system to run it, I'd go with that.

I've opened up the system processes screen, and apparently my bot's currently taking 571Kb of RAM, and the first package offered by burst.net gives 512Kb, so I doubt I can get away with that.

Anyone experienced with VPS systems that can give me some protips?

The cheapest Package will be enough to Run one bot, at least.

 

The burstNet package #2 is your best bet.

In my signature is a button to my VPS setup service if you're one of the first 5 it'll be free. I'll also teach you how to use it.

 

I'd go with the 2nd one just to be safe.

their setup is just installing your operating system and it costs extra.

I'll setup everything you need to get bots running, even start em up for you and show you how to use them. It can be a bit tricky if you're not familiar with the OS
