Preventing Deleted Accounts

After a certain amount of time Jagex deletes no stat accounts for space. Is there a certain amount of gp I can put on these accounts to prevent them from being deleted? The accounts would have no stats.

 

As far as I know the only way to keep it for sure is to have 1 stat over 30.

 

I had no idea jagex does this, but i doubt putting gp will prevent it from getting deleted, why don't you try to level some stats?

 

The reason I thought gp would also do it is because I have over 250 old mules and none of them have been deleted. I'm not sure why :S None of them have stats.

 

Are you fucking serious? I have an account with 150 Million GP. Should I level it up in case it gets deleted? I do log into it though, every day.. To trade gold here and there.

 

I think there also has to be a period of inactivity for them to be deleted.

 

Lets clear things up.
The accounts do not get deleted, the names do. You just have to set a name display name to the account if that happens

Your account must fill all these circumstances to get its name cleared:

1) Never been a member
2) No stats over 30
3) Haven't logged in for over a year.

This, Jagex doesn't delete accounts even if you get banned. There just removed from the highscores.

Most likely not KMJT. If what Peetu says in correct, you would be fine.

 

To be honest I would just go for a lvl 30 stat and try logging on the accounts every month or so, if what you say is true. Anyway, where did you hear accounts get deleted?

Just bot a stat to 30 or give it a months worth p2p, and it will never be cleared.

Pretty sure its 1 year of not logging in, so you should be fine.

 

Don't worry about it. If it has items in it and it's active every once in awhile than you're safe.
