Frost Dragons (80 Range)

Hey, I'm almost to 85 Dungeoneering, and I'm
considering doing Frost Dragons with only 80 range.

I'd prefer doing it with range simply because of the
fact that my other combat stats are just as bad (~85 each).

So, my question is, how well off would I be doing
Frost Dragons at 80 Range and 80 Defense (With Chaotic Crossbow)

Also, is Black / Royal Dragonhide really better then
Void when using a cannon?
I'm not sure what the relation to the cannon is, but I've been told it's not as good to use Void if you are cannoning.

 

I'd use Void still but try and get ranged higher, you won't be getting many KPH with lower range.
Take a cannon also.

 

I would recommend getting a rapier and just using melee. When I used to kill frost dragons I noticed stab weapons where so much better than using range. You would get faster kills with a rapier, which means more gp per hour.

Edit: But if you really want to use range that's okay, it's best to use void since it increases damage/accuracy but if you don't want to get it royal dhide is fine.

 

Use range unless your melee stats are 90+

I have a 133 main and thats what I did

 

Yeah use void or at least armadyl or something and if you use rune bolts which are quiet cheap at the moment it will still be fairly effective.
