Need some advice ;D

Just got 90 attack via slayer,
now i need to get 90 str, and i'm wondering what weapon to use.
because i don't really wanna slow my slayer tasks down.
ideas?

Godsword or D scim
I would go with D scim

 

I'd go with Godsword/D Scim/Saradomin Sword (very powerful sword, same speed as D scim, its my fav weapon)

Sara sword is best for training str. but, if you can afford it, the saradomin godsword is great for slayer because of the healing ability. It does, however slow the xp gained, as it's extremly slow.

I would say Dragon scimmy and use a dfs as a shield.

 

Saradomin sword is as fast as a whip. Faster than Dscim use that. And spec with sgs. Thats how pro slayers do it. If you feel the need for atck/def exp then whip + DFS

 

I recommend a d scim. If you powertrain like I did, you can get 3m xp per week haha.

 

Why do people say Dscim? Are you retarded? Dscim +DFS doesnt even come close to the str/atck bonus of a sara sword..... Its like the majority of Sythe can't afford a ss.

 

And you sir, are not? Most of people that want to train slayer effectively use a rune defender, instead of a dragonfire shield, and actually, the dragon scimitar combined with the rune defender isn't much more slower than saradomin sword.

no gs cuz too slow, and no d scim cuz its nooby

GS ye sure but only if u have like 20M for free
and D scimy owns !
an also try clay scimis ,cause they have higher str bonus

and if u are rich than full dharok ,1hp , pray potions and it would be faster way

 

What are you talking about, the Saradomin sword is very fast considering it is two handed, its the same speed as a whip!

I would suggest buying a saradomin sword and a saradomin godsword (if you have that much cash). Just use the special attack of the saradomin godsword when you need it (you could combine that setup with guthans to extend your trips) and the saradomin sword for the rest of the time.

If you don't have much money, a dragon scimitar paired with a rune defender/obsidian shield/dragonfire shield is the way to go. If you use this setup, I strongly advise you save up for guthans, I use it on my main and it has probably been the best purchase I have ever made in my time on runescape, it will extend your slayer tasks by loads! At only about 5m (it was when I bought it, might have gone up/down) its amazing value.

I'd say D Scim/Defender, Dfs or Obby shield, with guthans or bunyip.
I prefer bunyip, as I don't get hit alot often.
