EpicBot HACKS

I have only used EpicBot for botting on my recently created OSRS account. I have never entered my password on a website other than the official oldschool.runescape.com/runescape.com.

I did provide the bot with my username and password. Interestingly enough this bot never logged in on its own using the provided username/password.

Yesterday, someone logged into my account for about 6 hours. All of my GP as well as my rares were missing when I finally regained access. My inventory contained 5 new random event equips (mime legs/gloves, camo legs/hat, lederhosen hat) 2 diamonds, 1600gp and 5 varrock teletabs.

It appears as if they ran a moneymaking bot and then cleaned out all the easily sold valuables.

I offer this thread as a warning to those who use or plan on using EpicBot.

DO NOT GIVE EPICBOT YOUR RS 07 USERNAME/PASSWORD

 

Chances are you downloaded from Youtube or a filesharingsite.

Run a malwarescan with malwarebytes and pm or post the results.

 

You most likely downloaded some kind of rat, scan your computer via malwarebytes or format it. Im sure epicbot didnt hack you themselves, they earn tons just from scripts. They dont need to hack you, I had passwords saved on it and pins to like 10 accs most of them had 100m+/acc
So yeah, you didnt download it from their official website which is epicbot.com or you downloaded later some kind of fake tools such as epicbot script crackers or gp dupes which included malware software

 

I have never trusted epic bot seen so many post about them hacking account just dont use them at all.

 

I highly doubt you were hacked by EpicBot. Chances are you downloaded a script/client from a 3rd party source, a torrent or from youtube. Don't trust any downloads unless they are from EpicBot.com

 

I wouldn't highly doubt anything especially with what happened with OSbot recently.
