Bringing back old wilderness and free trade. [how it affects rsgp value]

Do you guys think that if the old wild and free trade comes back, the value of rsgp will be affected?

 

It would drop, gp would be easier to transfer so more people would be attracted to sell it.

 

Rares will sky rocket and the items such as : ores, logs will go down much.

 

In th long run rares will go down aswell.

 

Nah rare's will skyrockey as kid's would be able to obtain the cash much easier dropping the price of gold per mill.

Unless.... they keep the g/e and item price's and onyl make gold free tradable which would be best thing to do as we need the g/e

 

Thats a great idea, that only unlimited gp could be traded, cause GE, isnt bad .. i really like ge cause i hate going to w2 cause then it would be hard to get in to that world etc.

 

Does anyone remember how much rsgp went for back when there were no trade limits?

 

I agree they should keep the ge as questing would take 1 hour gathering the items when it takes 2 sec to buy. I think it will be more like a free market where people could bid on items and set offers. Just no more limits

 

It'll drop. Some rares will go up and some will go down. Best bet is to just get rid of everything but in pure cash.

 

Yeah I remember it wasn't uncommon for $4/M and that's when transfers took a minute.

You have to agree now though Sythe is much more popular and we have a lot more competition from gold sellers, it isn't just R2P dominating that market.

(I can't remember the username to my old Sythe account, I registered in 06 to vouch Dorito for buying a PIN from him and can't remember it )

 

Actually I'm pretty sure mills will go up.
Alot more people will want mills to pk and play the game.

 

They won't keep the GE prices, it will be like an auction.

 

hmmm....maybe prices will stay the same then. since you guys are saying 1.) there are so many people that will be selling rsgp. 2.) there will be more people wanting to buy rsgp.


and i find it kind of ridiculous how FHM got banned in like 2 seconds

 

Currently theres High Stock of GP since its a bit harder to transfer.
When its going to be easier theres going to be a Huge demand ... Gp stock will decrease.

Price Will go up i cant even imagine the day with free trade how many pepoele are about to buy gold.

Rares is too hard to predict cause theyr about to lose their street price. I dont know how its going to affect.

Why would ores and logs go down when you cant buy bulk in GE anymore?(after the update) u would have to find people that would have tons on hand which most people dont.

 

I'd say RSGP value would go down, mainly because more people will farm it in order to sell it for real cash.

 

you still remember the time, just before jagex set the limit, they said that if you transfer huge bunch of gp's then you might get banned, i think they will make that part a more catchable. orsmth

 

I'm actually farming right now. i have like 20 accounts farming at once, hopefully my investment for the membership on those accounts wont go down the drain.

 

True, and the bots are horrendous now. People will just buy vps for non stop botting and anybody could be a seller.


So if anyone can sell, that will lead the "noobs" to the markets that just want to dump all there gp for cash, so they sell it at the lowest prices causing the legit sellers having to go lower to compete, until it will be to low. And it won't
be just botters to, it'll be stakers also who just want to sell, basically anyone that can make a huge amount of cash fast.

Also, the GE will basically be just like the World of Warcraft Auction House.
