i find it extremely odd. Maybe just put it there to make everybody think it was a trick ?

if you you copy and paste the link that shows in the thread into your address bar "the one you are suppose to go to but actually makes you enter your password" its just the behind the sceens decemeber.

i think it is a phishing site... coz if u take away the letters and such at the end of the link so its just "forums.runescape.com" then it says 404 page not found :/

When JaGeX caught onto people using phising sites they changed the login applet and made it so you can use a URL link to someone's thread on the forums.
