How to make a F2p Range pure guide


1. Do tutorial island, after you get the arrows and bow, go kill goblins till level 3. Go back to range tutor for more arrows if you run out.

2. Get fishing and cooking to level 3 each. This will come in handy on getting your food for pking.

3. After you complete Tutorial island, use BOTH yellow lamps on range and then head off to the school in barbarian village.

4. Go underneath the jail and read all the plaques and hit all the thumbs ups. Then go upstairs, talk to the proffessor and take the test.

5. Complete the test, and then use BOTH red lamps on range too. If done correctly you should have 12 range already.

6. Now, make around 50-60k by fishing and cooking trout and salmon (sell in Grand Exchange) and buy around 3k iron arrows and the best bow you can use.

7. Head over to the cow pen at the crafting guild, normally theres nobody there, so its good for training. You will need to kill around 90 cows to get to level 20.

8. Now head off to Edgevile dungeon and go to the skeletons near the the hill giants, normally there isn't anyone there so this is great training. Kill around 98 skeletons to get to level 30.

9. Keep training on skeletons untill level 40. This will take you 222 skeletons to get to.

10. Hop over to the moss giants in varrock sewers. It will take you a whopping 987 moss giants just to reach 60 range so stay in there! Also you could go to the flesh crawlers [level 25's] in stronghold. It shouldn't take too long if you just "get your head in the game".

Tips & Tricks :

Don't EXP watch! Unless you want to moan and whine that you need 20,000 exp just to reach a level.
Listen to music, it takes the thought of it away

Not a really good guide. Normally, when you are 40 range, go to flesh crawlers(the level 25s) in Stronghold and kill them to 70. That will effectively increase your range...

Its a little short and its just under average....Sorry but you should def put pics and make it slightly longer...cuz my bh'er has 76 range and can go into low crator...better places to train? Fastest xp? Fastest money while training?

 

Its not bad at all just extremely basic. It needs to have a little more advanced knowledge...

OK guide, could use some pictures. And I cannot imagine getting 3 cooking/fishing in the tutorial is going to help you much getting food for bhing.

 

Pretty basic but I haven't made a pure in a while and with the new pvp on its way I decided to start up a new pure, got to 20 range and I wasn't to sure where I should train to 40 range but this guide is quite helpful so, thanks!

i decided to get me range up for the new pvp. i have 49 im gonna train to 60 or so, then i acn range/2h on pvp. hit 20s with 2h when i use ultimate strength. 71 str, cb - 69

i never thought to go to fresh crawlers. im gonna go there.

At 40, train to 50 at Lessers using safe spots.
Then at 50 train at ankous till 65 using safe spot.

Yes, as other people have stated you could post several methods for each level set. Also to make the guide better, you could include pictures and more organization.
