Chaotic PKing - Need Advice!!!

Let's say I have an account with 80 att, 99 str, 75 def, and 85 hp. Prayer is lower than 60 and cb doesnt really matter. Magic and range levels are 1. The account has enough for 1 chaotic weapon. The account would be used for making pking vids. Thinking of buying a chaotic maul and dds for spec since cash is low, would that be good for pking? All advice is great since I'm new to pking. Thanks

 

I would highly suggest the Maul in this circumstance, Rapier is pretty poor on higher defences, and well Maul.. smashes through anything as if you had just smeared dog shit on yourself..

But really.. Go get Veng

94 mage is required for venge.
If you have a cmaul + venge and barrow gloves, you will win A LOT of your fights my man.

Maul imo, you should be looking for higher hits, not combo's your HP is toooo low.

 

I have owned 2 Mauls and a rapier. They are both good. However, for pking, the maul seems to get me killed a lot. People veng right before you hit and if you happen to hit high your basically dead. The other thing with the maul is it is really bad for combos. Think of trying to do some kind of switch with a godsword as your primary switching to dds or something similar. Rapier on the other hand is good for everything. It hits better than whip on high defense, and hits much harder. The only bad thing about it is if you pk with defenders, you will lose them, where as the maul you dont need one. Anyway I have done rapier to korasi versus other berserkers and it just owns. Throwing in a dds spec after you veng or hit high with rapier is really easy. Switching is a piece of cake because of the speed. So personally, I like the rapier more. Now if you had lower combat and turmoil it might be a different story. Also, rapier is godly for PvM. I used to never to slayer/PvM but when I got rapier I tried it once and it was so easy I do it every now and then.

Go for the rapier, its a whip on steroids.

 

What the guy above me said is correct. Rapier would probably be best for you. You said your new to pking and looking to make videos, and at the level you will be, nearly everyone will have vengeance, so maul will probably not be your best bet as it is a massive veng trigger and your not very experienced
