if i babysit when i auto, can i still get banned?

hi, i'm new to cheating. lets say i baby sit when i auto, can i still get banned? or am i pretty much safe if i babysit and respond to player/mods.

i'm just worried about jagex actually detecting my mouse movements/clicking.

i know this is a dumb newb question, but i will purchase w/e scripts i need. thanks.

 

using any kind of autoing software will have a chance of getting you banned no matter how good it is.. or how humanlike you act.

although interacting with people while you bot does make you look alot better off.

 

if you mean auto clicker? like a old random auto program you'll get caught real fast; even if you are talking...

 

You can still be banned, yes, but the risk is much lower, especially if you are using a good script.

 

There's no way to not get banned while botting, you just have to be smart and not bot, or be lucky and not get caught. :s

 

That's completely untrue.
Legit players have no life, botters do, just turn on your bot and do whatever you want.

 

Get a good script and there is a low change.. i botted my skiller for like 1 month almost non stop didnt got banned yet so just be lucky and dont get caught!

 

Botters have that really good life where they would spend money buying the auth codes to be better on the game?

Theres a fine line between players having lifes and players being desperate.

Lets get back to the topic of discussion. To answer your question I would say that the chances of you getting caught are very very low if you truely babysit your bot. Most bots come with anti-ban. Anti-ban is not great but it does accomplish making your bot look more human. By babysitting your bot you are making your bot almost 100% human. Some tips while your doing this: join a clan chat. This allows you to chat with a clan with out having to click on the screen like you would friend chat. Also many bots will simply talk into the public chat like "sup" "What is your _________level?" By talking in your clan chat about an event or something it is very, very difficult for Jagex to say he is botting. Also (and this may appear horrible and mean) if you see a level 3 who is obviously botting take a second to report him after all what bot would report another botter =p

 

You can do anything while you auto, doesn't matter what your doing irl. But running any bot runs the risk of ban.

 

Try to bot in a place where there is alot of people, like SW bank chest, no randoms + like 50 people stacking on same spot.

 

Many people have said it. If you bot there is always a risk of getting banned. But like JaminB said if you type it makes you incredibly human like. Note you can't be saying random stuff like "What did you have for dinner?". Get involved into a conversation in a clan chat. Of course if you're auto alching while you type constantly you're going to get banned. I don't think talking affects ban rate as much as being a smart botter. Don't let your bot run for hours upon hours without changing activities. You could always purchase more than one script and switch scripts every 2-3 hours.

i meant can jagex detect that your using a program, like they did with AutoRune back in 2004 w/ the mass ban

The risk is soo much lower if you do this.
But, since your still using 3rd party software, you CAN get banned still.

 

As everyone has stated, yes you can still get banned.

Although, babysitting will decrease your chances of getting banned. JaGex usually bans you because other players report you, but if you are talking and interacting with other players it lowers your chances drastically.

Bottor: pays a small fee and gets the 99

Time is money my friend... if all those maxed ppl have worked those hours instead of played runescape, they'd be pretty rich. (e.g. 400 days total play time = 9600 hours, lets say u earn 20$/h, this adds up to 192 000$)
Doesn't that overcompensate your few 15$ bots, no?
