Runespan Bot Island questions.

I'm feed up with this 70k/h stuff.
Im on island 15 atm, getting the same xp as i did on 14. The difference between the two is that one has a soul esswraith and the other a death esswraith (double the amount of xp from death to soul) and im still getting the same amount of xp as i did on 14. Id like to know where the hell i go to get the 90k/h botting because ive seen proggy's of people with 6+ hours botting getting 99k/hour. Where the hell do i go?

BTW: i'm 91 runecrafting (double natures!!!)

 

First of all, make sure you're on world 39 -- the unofficial Runespan world. Apparently the more people Runespanning, the better xp you get. I'm not sure if there are more nodes, or they just last longer, nor can I cite this -- but I'm pretty convinced you'll get better xp on w39.

I'd suggest this island, I believe it is... 32. It has 2 Soul Wraiths. In world 39, it will be packed with people.



I'd say at least 90% of the people here are bots. But it's probably worth noting that while this island is always packed with people, there are significantly less than there were weeks ago. I couldn't tell you why, but I'm sure you could speculate.

Directly East is island 30, which has a single Soul Wraith, but is pretty handy because you can easily check to see if there are better nodes on island 30, and hop to and from each island for even better xp.

Also note that your xp depends on nodes -- which seem to appear randomly (although probably related to the players in the Runespan). But this means you could go an hour siphoning nothing but nodes, or you could go an hour with no nodes.

If you're botting it, definitely make sure your script can siphon from all nodes. I hear some of them on RSbot have you select 3 nodes, or even a single node -- which is stupid because even lower-level nodes give faster xp than siphoning from a Soul Wraith.

 

Thanks for the help, im always on world 39 (its the unofficial runespan world) and im using SudoRunespan on Powerbot. It can siphon anything and everything and always chooses to siphon nodes over npc's. im heading to island 30 now. thanks for shedding some light into the "secrets".

 

its because ur rc is too low to do deaths successfully there is always a chance u wont steal the rune power from what your siphoning.

 

The number of people siphoning doesn't affect the amount of xp from the nodes, nor do they affect how long they last.

 

Runescape.com and the RS Wiki say differently: "The nodes will last longer when more people are siphoning them."

LOL now isn't that something? That line didn't exist too long ago. While you did quote runescape.wikia.com correctly, let me show you this older revision that contradicts that exact statement. It says, "no matter how many people are siphoning from a single node, it will stay around a randomly determined amount of time before disappearing or changing."

That, and I didn't find any lines from the official RS wiki supporting that idea the more people siphoning a node makes it last longer.

Ha, figured I missed something. Well, I'll pass on the edit, though I'm not completely convinced that the number of players siphoning from a node has any effect on its duration. It didn't seem like it anyway, on my road to 99. YMMV
