Hey Chantecleer, as far as that paper goes, I'd say you should go pretty in-depth if it's that many pages.

I'll give you a basic structure to follow

Page 1.) His birth, early life, childhood interests

Page 2.) Growing up into anti-slavery, description of teen life

Page 3.) Any education he might of received, what he studied

Page 4.) His personal views on anti-slavery, any justifications he may have written

Page 5.) Any of his influences (this can include family); motives

Page 6.) Action he took on his views, were his actions right or wrong

Page 7.) Outcome of his actions, good, bad, neutral. (What did his actions provoke in other people)

Page 8.) Impact of his actions. How did they affect what the world is today.

Hope I was of some help to you,

If you have any questions you can contact me via MSN.

Ive got some mad math questions for Grade 11 Uni-Math corse. I'll update this post with the questions. Ive spend a good two hours and have failed pretty hard.

    P.S. Full explanation required

Edit: Here are the Super Fun assignment questions.

    1. Quadratics: A Quadratic function goes through the points (0,1) , (2,-1) and (-1,-7). Give the equation for this function in standard form. (not to hard)
2.Algebra: On the first four tests of the year your average is 84%. If you think you can score 94% on all remaning tests how many more tests do you need to brin your average to a 90%. (Trial and error is possible, but algebraic solution is required for full marks) (still not to hard, but getting there)
3.Exponents(bracket number means to the power of, eg x(6) is x to the power of 6): If x(2)yz(3) = 7(3) and xy(2) = 7(0) find the value of xyz. (No idea)
    4. Functions: Find the equation for each function represented by the tables of balue below (ill write it). Then use your function f(21).
    a) (1,10), (2,14), (3,18), (4,22)
    b) (-1,-3), (1,-3), (3,13), (5,45)
    c) (0,1), (1,4), (2,~5.24), (4,7)
    d) (-1,0.5), (0,1), (1,2), (2,4)
    5.Quotients and Patterns:
    a) What is the quotient when any three-digit number whos digits are the same is divided by the sum of its digits? Explain why the quotient is always the same. (wtf?)
    b) Is there a constant quotient for any 4 digit number whos digits are the same? For any five digit numbers? For numbers with any number of digits? Explaine.(No actually, wtf?)
    6. Linear functions and reflections: The straight line 2x-3y+6=0 is reflected in the line y = -x. Find the equation of the reflection image. (Algebraic equation perffered)

I'd really love to do the calculations but unfortunately my calculator is out of batteries. For the first question use e=mc^2. Also, for the third question, use e=mc^2 where the total mass is 0.022kg (anti-matter annihilation results in all the mass converted to energy). For the fourth question, use e=0.5mv^2.

    Hope that helps

If its not too late. I've only figured this one out.

The equation is 90(4+x)=84(4) + 94x where x is the number of tests needed.
Solve for x and you get 6.

If x*y^2=7^0, a first thought is that maybe both x and y are 1. That also works in the first equation if z is 7. So xyz is 1*1*7=7...

I did a lot of algebra before and got this same answer, but deleted it because I thought I did it wrong.

It would have been a pro-slavery society if he was white, most likely.

I recommend you do this man, there appears to be plenty you can put into your own words and simply rewrite: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Lloyd_Garrison

For a function the only one I can think on top of my head is that it can't have 2 ranges corresponding to the same domain. Meaning you can't have 2 y values for one x. Consider a circle, it isn't a function.

Also for linear, it is simply the form y=mx+b. As long as it follows this it's linear.

Can you explain this: no multiplying/dividing variables?

From what I gather its multiplying say 5 to x to get 5x which is still linear. But dividing, say 2/x is not linear.

Hi, I need help on my speech for my English class.

Here's the thing, you have to read a biography about a person, then talk in front of the class, pretending to be the person.

My person is Charles Darwin (VERY BORING), and I have to make it interesting some how.

Got any ideas? Help is greatly appreciated. :)

    90(4+x)=84(4) + 94x I distributed the 90 to the 4 and to the X, and multiplied 84 by 4

    ---

    360 + 90 X = 336 + 94X Next, you subtract 90x from both sides

    ---

    360 = 336 + 4X Then, subtract 336 from both sides

    --

    24 = 4X Divide by 4, and you get X=6

    ------------------------------------------------

Tell me if I did something wrong.
