Hey, I have built several high-end skillers for sale, and decided to give out some details about building one up as I see most of people don't know the best training methods and what you can do or can't do!


Beginning

You just created your fresh new account to osrs. Finish up the tutorial island, you may want to level up every skill to 3 on the tutorial island except combat skills (It is a bit faster for some levels than in normal world)

Now when you have completed the tutorial island, you want to set up the settings optimal for your skiller account. Head to the settings ingame -> control tab -> Change the "Player 'Attack' options:" to "Hidden" and to the same for the "NPC 'Attack' options". Thats how you dont accidentally attack to anything that gains you combat experience and possible ruin your account, as for skiller you want to stay combat 3 and lvl 1 in combat skills.

Well done! You are now ready for the hard and long grind for your dream skiller account!

There are plenty of quests that you can do on skiller as staying lvl 1 in combat skills, all the quests that you CAN do, is listed down on the spoiler below. It is HIGHLY recommended that any quest experience lamps / museum lamps are used on Slayer, as it is the slowest skill on skillers.

Achievement diaries

Some of the diaries are doable and the ones you can complete while staying as skiller are listed down on the spoiler below. It is HIGHLY recommended to use all the experience lamps on Slayer, as it's the slowest skill on skillers.

  • Desert Diary ( Vulture with cannon manipulation / recoils. Opening the Sarcophagus WILL give you 20xp in Strenght, be cautions not to level up, if you're too close to level, just simply skip this diary )

Skills

For every skill there is an spoiler for some best methods to go with.

Spoiler: Runecrafting

Guardians of the rift untill 77 runecrafting or full outfit, then blood runes to 99.
Alternative method is lava runes to 77 and then bloods.

It is highly recommended to get some Agility up before starting runecrafting.

Spoiler: Construction

All the normal training methods apply here, as training construction isn't really different from any other accounts.

Spoiler: Agility

Go with Rooftops, as it will give you quite a bit gold from the mark of graces, during 99.

Alternative method is Agility pyramid at later levers for money, but it's a bit painfull for skillers. I suggest to stick with rooftops.

Spoiler: Herblore

Depends on your budjet, go with what you can afford. Alternative method is attack potions all the way to 99, it is cheapest way, but will take way longer.

Spoiler: Thieving

Low levels, use the best stall you can thiev from (Fruit stalls are quite good)
Higher levels you can start Pyramid Plunder OR Blackjacking for the best experience.

Spoiler: Crafting

If you have money to spend, you can go with dragon hide armours, but if you want to make some passive income, try out Drift net crafting and Glass blowing.

Spoiler: Fletching

If you have money to spend and want it fast, make the best bolts you can. Alternatively you can fletch the best longbow (u) and sell to G.E for profit.

Spoiler: Slayer

This is the most slowest and painfull skill. It is highly recommended to use ALL experience lamps from quests/diaries/genies/school events to Slayer only.

You can clean finds at the varrock museum for 500xp antique lamps, this is SLOW method, but the best method to rise up the skill on the account. You can get 3-5k exp/hr, that is ridicilious, but as being said, it's barely the only method to do.

Spoiler: Hunter

Bird houses is highly recommended, you can do chins aswell to cover some loss on other skills you've spent money on. Herbiboars are aswell good alternative method to do.

Spoiler: Mining

Highly recommended to start motherlode when you can, to obtain prospector set as soon as possible.

Fast way to get 99 mining is powermining iron at mining guild (you can aswell bank the ores as it's being faster than dropping them in long run + saves you from alot of clicks)

You can aswell do motherlode for afk, or crashed stars.

Spoiler: Smithing

Dart tips end up profiting if you sell and buy your supplies wisely.

Fastes method is to do platebodies to 99.

Spoiler: Fishing

Highly recommended to get Angler's outfit before starting to grind 99.
Fastest method is barbarian village trouts/salmons, You can aswell cook them on the fire close to the river.

Good alternative method is Aerial fishing and Tempoross.

Spoiler: Cooking

Highly recommended to do 35-99 with wines, as it wont cost too much and is fast method, you can do this at f2p aswell!

Good alternative method is cooking sharks at range to 99.

Spoiler: Firemaking

Recommended: Wintertodt
Good alternative method is to burn the best logs you can.

Spoiler: Woodcutting

Teak logs are the best experience, so go with them unless you want to bank logs to make money.

Spoiler: Farming

Highly recommended to do herb runs as much as you can. Farming contracts are aswell good way to get money and exp.

Fastest way is tree & fruit tree runs (this will cost alot of money if doing the best trees you can)

Never made a skiller before, I don't really see the appeal of them but if people are buying them at high prices thats all that matters

Do you usually make more than one account at a time and what do you recommend for starting capital?

Overall a really nice and detailed guide, i'll be sure to use it if i ever make one. Nice job man.

 

Thanks man. 1350-1500 total skiller (nearby maxed without slayer) sells for roughly 400-700$ depends the pets/untradeables/reputation and such, so I consider it good as most of the work is totally afk.

I usually make 2-3 accounts at the same time, but now im only making 1 at the time, due wanting to focus on my GIM

Take the advantage of the guide if you ever need.

If you're planning to start up one, I'd consider start to grind gracefulls first, as you will need them alot Depends do you want to focus 100% or just afk, the possibilities varies, it really depends of what you want to do or what do you need on the account.

How long does it usually take for you to get the skiller ready for sale?

 

Depends the desired levels, but few weeks to few months basically, on/off training
