Who knows anything about ddos/ping attacks?

Lately my internet has become very unstable it has been going on/off randomly and very often. My few anti viruses etc pick it up every time and block it but it still says high memory usage in the "ping" now i'm not really a computer expert obviously why i put it here.
Is this a trojan virus directly?
How can i stop this?
Am i constantly getting DDOS'ed?
Help?

Post some screenshots of anything you think is related to the problem, ncluding the Process and Networking tabs in your Task Manager

In the mean time:
Does it disconnect and then reconnect almost right away, or does it disconnect and stay disconnected for a period of time?
Is this a wired or wireless connection?
Are you connecting to the internet through a router?
Are you torrenting? (I constantly get disconnected whenever I torrent.)
What isp do you have?
Why do you have a "few antiviruses"? (Not really related, but still)
