It's not hard to tell if they're scammers or not... If they refuse to use OMM/go first to a trusted member, chances are, they are scammers.

And of course we get infractions for accusing them of scamming "without evidence", when it's so obvious that they are (I got 1 infraction for that lol).

Yeah I find it pretty funny too... Had some kid say something about my post count earlier (like 900 post made in Jan.11). Dude didn't even bother searching my name to figure out if I'm legit or not.

Usually the ones who want you to go first and don't want an OMM are ban evaders :S

 

Its fun watching people that joined this month say you MUST go first.

Until someone gets scammed.

 

It's quite simple, don't trade if they aren't willing to use an MM.

Personally I try to stay away from everyone below a certain number of posts.

 

Spraynwipe knows how it is. Use a OMM all the time, or if they dont go first. Then thats whats up.

 

I'm even scared of them going first if I'm selling gold, in case they chargeback on PayPal.

 

It's just strange that an account made in 2011 could potentially have 900+ post count depending on how diligent they were - and could use that as an excuse for getting more trust.

I wouldn't limit it just to leechers, but rather, idiots in a whole who make the entire MUCH too risky to the other person -and- expect someone to take up their trade in return.

 

Exactly, well said. I tried to sell some mills to a guy, but I gave up because he wasn't aware that US currency converts to CDN currency on Paypal, and I can't trust him enough to believe he won't chargeback later on.

 

As soon as one says I cant use an OMM, cause i need to go soon, it cracks me up. Also yea especially when they wont go first and they say there trusted on other sites....and......were using sythe here and so are they why would I trust someone form something else.
