My Rune Miner

Just a quick question, but where should I mine rune? I have 85 mining on my Gmauler which is 54 combat and I am mining rune in the wildy. I'm constantly hoping and finding someone already took the ores in that world and hopped them selves. Should I go ahead and do heros quest so I can mine in basement, or try mining in f2p since there may be less people?

Ps. hero's quest gives defence and I'm currently 1 def.

 

heros and wildy are the most crowded places to mine. go to lava maze dungeon or dark beasts area (lava maze is best place in RS to mine). fremmy isles is also usually semi-crowded.

 

Both places are very crowded, what I did was just hop around on f2p worlds and I could easily find worlds, it may be harder on weekends though.

 

Ok heres the secret, you have to do it at 5-6 in the morning, so just wake up early because no rune miners at up at that time, they all just went to bed half hour before that rofl, so get a good nights sleep. wake up mine some rune then go to the gym and feel good about yourself

 

not exactly a secret, but true do it early when there's few people there

 

you could try f2p/p2p pvp worlds... doesn't hurt to try

 

Quickchat worlds, too, maybe.. Any oddness might help.

 

hop around I wouldn't ruin a pure to get a couple of ores even thought they are worth a bit lol
