Trying to buy a rs3 account

so I'm gonna buy a rs3 account from someone.
I'm just wondering is there any possible ways for them to recover the account back even when the account is linked to my own Email? And recovery questions are my own

    yes

Anyone can recover ANY Account as long as they have the first password.

and better yet if they have creation ip its like taking candy from a baby.

Dont buy accounts, make your own.

Runescape is literally not that hard. Just takes minimal effort and your account will be completely secure and yours.

A account can always be recovered no matter what.

It is easier to recover if the original owner recovers on the same IP that the account was created on.

IMO it's not worth buying an account, they can always be recovered at any time.

It's not knowing the first IP it was created with, Jagex has a history of the IPs that the account has been affiliated with. When submitting a recovery, Jagex asks to run a quick test which gathers your IP. If your recovery report is on an IP that the account has been on several times before, it's going to be recovered no matter what you wrote in the report.

If you really wanted to buy an account, get one from a very trusted user on the forums. Someone with $1000+ in vouches, or SVU, etc. I wouldn't recommend getting it from those 50pc newfags who are just here to scam.

    Good luck in your endeavors.

Accounts can always be recovered however if you buy from a legit seller you won't have this problem. Even though surprisingly the account I'm trying to sell still has no serious offers. My point is good accounts aren't cheap and if it seems to good to be true it probably is.

It's always better to pay for someone to train your account that to buy an account. Even if it is more expensive. Sometimes even the most trusted people eventually recover their accounts, so it's worth the investment to know that your account will be permanently yours.

+1, given past history trust sometimes gets over taken by greed.

in alot of ways I agree. Buying an account from someone with 1000$ + in vouches on sythe can actually go good.

they have worked very hard to keep credibility and would have no reason to lose it over scamming you considering this is their business.

Trying to buy a rs3 account

I bought an account from a website a few years ago, and they said i had to wait 60 days before the email was reset and i could enter my own, but 20ish days later the site got shut down and changed name/adress so i was never able to change the email, but i still have the account : ) it's risky but can be a viable option if you don't want to level up/quest

As everyone has said, an account is always recoverable. You're better off creating your own (or recovering one if you can remember anything about any account you've had in the past).

Wolf made a good point. If you're in the market to buy an account, I'd recommend creating your own account instead, getting a decent total level (maybe like 70+ all skills), and then paying for some skilling services. 70+ all skills is a low goal that is quick and easy to achieve. I'd start there, honestly. However, in personal experience, I still have ownership of an account I bought via Sythe when I first joined. I'm not the least bit worried that it'll be recovered, and even so, I wouldn't mind fighting back and recovering it also (since I've been the only occupant in the past 2.5 years). I can put up a good argument for Jagex, I've done it before.

Just be cautious if you do buy an account from someone. If it's too good to be true, it probably is. Your money should be well spent, so don't expect to buy a near-maxed account for 50m (you can see the obvious low-ball). There are always accounts being sold, so don't jump on the first trade you're interested in if the person seems sketchy. Wait it out.

Good luck if you go through with buying an account, but I still recommend just creating your own.

Yes they can, they just need the first ip or the first password, take my advice and make sure you buy from someone people can vouch for and who everyone believes is trusted, no point in spending all your money just to get an account recovered again...

Original IP address wins, ALWAYS. I once purchased an account from someone with 1300+ vouches on powerbot, so it wasn't getting recovered. Then one day, the account gets locked, and I message him, he says he will attempt to recover the account back. He used every single detail he knew about the account and got denied, the reason? Because he moved 500+ miles from the original ip/location. Then, he teamviews his friend that lived their still and uses the exact same info and got accepted and recovered the account.

From personal experience an account can Always be recovered by the original owner.
All you have to do is buy from a trusted user who you can ensure will not recover your account
