How did you get into minecraft?

Last year during school I saw a friend of mine playing it, and thought it was the coolest and most original idea ever. Then I went home and downloaded a cracked version and have been playing since.

 

Cracked version!?!? Cheap! I tried it after a friend loaned me his account and as soon as I found out how to survive your first night I was addicted for about a week. After that I only log on now and again, a bit like RuneScape.

 

I went to a friends house and I saw him playing this game which he had gotten from his friends. I went home and played classic (on servers and such) and I was hooked. I bought an hour later.

 

In truth, I've actually yet to buy the game myself. I'm using my friends account which he doesn't mind so long as I don't change password eg;. I'll wait for Minecraft to be FULLY released as a game and not a beta before deciding to buy it or not.

I heard about it through a few friends, and bought it before even trying it. I found the game really lame, but then I got addicted. Nowadays, I just play for a good time with my buddies.

 

£5 isn't a lot of money for me, it's just I got bored of it after a week and only really play it for online now. So we'll have to see if it's worth buying as a full game.

 

Bought it when it was 5 dollars, like a month after it was released. My friend from fagex, supah fly, made a post about it so I decided to check it out. Been playing on and off every since. I recently got back into it as I learned how to set up and run a server.

 

Cool, the server also has 3 bars out of 5, what part of world you in?

 

I need to hide my computer or something, someone keeps unplugging it and taking it away from the router at my house >.> I think it's down at the moment, but I can't even be sure because my work connection is hardly fast enough to load the server when it's running at 5 bars..

 

WTF, who in the house keeps knocking it off and nicking the router? Hide your PC somewhere and buy your own router. I have Diamonds to mine! If you think it'll be impossible to run it at yours then maybe x339 could try running it instead? An yes, it's down at the moment and has been for the last few hours...

 

No it's not impossible, we're just renovating. We should be done in a day or two. Until then, I'll do my best to make sure it's not messed with as much as I can.

I watched a game show and they talk about minecraft and their server was really awesome. Roller coaster and stuff like that.

My friend told me about it one day. I decided to check out youtube videos on the game. I came across the BlueXephos channel and my life was changed forever!

 

I read about it on some forum, might have been Sythe.

Glad that I found out about the game because I enjoy playing it and play it about 2 hours a day.

 

Heard about it from friends, so I bought a stolen acc from marii here on sythe a few days ago and am now playing.
EDIT: Should Probably Clarify: I didn't Know it was stolen at time of purchase.

 

Isn't buying a stolen account from someone off Sythe against the rules?
