Force people to show proof of their script in the software section

Ok I'm tired of reading through these threads and seeing scammers trying to sell scripts that they clearly haven't made I've seen everything from people blatently lying hoping the person will just give the cash first, all the way up to someone using another paid script and trying to call it their script in order to provide proof of their script. It's quite annoying and it makes it harder for legit traders to do business.

 

I support this, something needs to change.

 

If the make of the script could also provide proof that his script works as said that would get a support from me.. At the moment many of these script sellers are telling people they can make x amount of xp/gp per hour when it is just lie, either that or they give you a script which is half assed and doesn't even work properly.

 

What the hell are you talking about?
He is wanting to get people selling fake, non-functional, or non-existent scripts AKA scammers banned.That's normal.

Thanks for the heads up and all, but it's pretty obvious that if you are going to be buying a script that you should thoroughly check out the background of the person selling it (see if they are well known at any botting sites, see if they have any other script sales/releases that you can check out etc.) and things like pictures, videos, and even a live demonstration via TV or Skype.

 

You can say the same thing about buying an account but it doesn't mean its still safe, someone with limited knowledge on scripting can easily fake a high quality script if they are only being watched a short period of time.
I think this would really help the un-educated sythe users which there are a lot of them.

I personally think the script should either be verified by a sythe staff member that they are working at, at least the level of quality specified in the thread.

verifying the initial code IF sythe staff can handle this so no account stealing issues

or at a minimum the scripter should have to post a video of the script doing 1 complete run.

 

If a script seems especially suspicious, report the post and a moderator will request further proof that it works. Thanks.
