Forbid advertising middleman/advertising platforms (Outside middleman sections or completely)

This goes for websites like playerauctions/eldorado.

These should either go in the middleman section or shouldn't be advertised at all as it's basically another trading platform that competes with sythe

 

It shouldnt be allowed. Have you tried reporting?

 

Seems like these topics haven't been bumped in a while, but just want to see a clear ruling on this, and if this should be allowed on sythe at all

 

You should report them. Or ask a moderator. Going too deep with the concept can backfire sometimes. It doesnt really bother me personally if they choose the subforum to promote their business, its its appropiately placed.

 

Support from me, if we're getting rid of the whole idea of service discords advertising or so on (or at least the free market part) then it should be the same for those too.

 

The more I think about this and my support comment the more i'd like to expand into it, and why people would want to have their say as well.

What you need to remember is, we are all traders of some sort, and we all have discord servers literally.

Whilst I understand yes gambling discords (dicing if you will) are not the same as actual market, where does this gold go that they have as wins/splits etc? Last time I remembered, it was sold to either gold sites, or independently. Not all websites/discord servers/gambling users will have the same idea in mind as that, but what you need to remember is if you go staking and you win 1B, you started with 10M are you going to keep the 1B or are you going to sell it? chances are, you are going to sell most, or you are going to go bigger and try get the bigger bucks which then you later on sell as well.

I understand I sound bias, and I do not wish for it to come out that way. What people need to remember is, we are all using a black market forum, and it says it in the name "black market" this entails that we are allowed to sell products and also purchase products under their guidelines which I do feel if we are going to move some stuff, we cannot show favour to others.

 

Support, else there will be some gray area IMO and I think its best to avoid that

 

Playerauctions is very limited in where they can advertise and you are correct eldorado is no different. I have locked all of their threads
