I think this is considered advertising even-though you're trying to help people.
You may want to PM a mod to make sure what you're doing is ok .

Really, posting a link to another site that is there to help certain people out is against the rules, i mean it's not really advertising is it it's just pointing people with problems in the right direction, I have pm-ed a mod and will find out from there if it can stay or not

Anyway if it helps people out so be it, not like its anything to do with runescape or money making etc just to help people, is that wrong?

 

Because your site has ads for it, it is considered doing it 'for personal profit' which is only allowed in the signature. Sorry.

 

It's not my site, I think you have been mistaken it's not my site it's a boy has girl problems site thing that I found ages ago how exactly am I gaining profit by this? I don't get anything at all apart from the joy of helping people lol , it's just a site to help certain people, I really don't want to have an argument lol I just can't see why it isn't allowed as this is the assistance thread bit I don't get anything out of it, it's just helping people out... And by the way the site doesn't even have ads on it the only links within it are for threads within the site, but I'm sure you know that and haven't just judged it before even looking at it

 

Advertising other websites are not allowed mate. You can remove the link and tell them to just shoot you a pm if they need help. I don't see difference in whether they post here or go on some other website and post.

 

If it's not his site, he's not really advertising for his gain. It's still relevant, so why not?

 

I'm waiting for the mod to either pm me back or close the thread, then we shall find out if it's allowed to stay open or not, I mean it's not like saying rapid gold from certain websites is best it's just a website to help lads with girl problems
