For all you big Runescape Service/GP providers

Whats roughly the monthly cost of upkeeping a website + adds if you dont mind sharing some info.

 

I'm not sure on the Advertising sites of things, however, the costs of purely keeping up a site are minimal ~$30 a month max I'd say.

However, if you're paying staff for 24/7 live chat etc then your monthly costs would be alot higher (you won't need to do this until you're making a decent amount already though)

 

The website itself is almost nothing compared to the other operational costs of running the service like labor and supporting software.

Just to give you an idea, the site itself might cost you $20/month to have up, but you'll need a functional livechat solution built to serve properly and scale (if you want that, I presume). That alone might cost $50-250 a month.

I doubt any experienced seller will give you and actual breakdown of all the costs (there are a lot of them) as it would reveal "trade secrets".

In total operation costs for such a service (if done properly) will probably be in the realm of $500-1500 a month not including paid advertising.
