Skateboarding

Well hello to my thread. I'm like a freshmen at my school. I decided that it would be fun to do another sport. Since I'm on a soccer team I wanted to start skateboarding. Now I suck at it as its my first time. I have the following items...

Tight pants.
Emerica shoes.
ELEMENT shirts.

Getting a skateboard in a week.

I need help on what kind of skateboard to buy I only have $60.00.

And if you could give me some tips on skateboarding for a beginner thanks. This will be my first time.

Nice, I've never really tried skating, But i suggest you get tight skinny jeans.

Skate clothes n shit doesn't make you a skater. Wanting to skateboard for the love of the sport and being dedicated is what makes you a skater. Don't do it to try and be cooler, because you will fail. Skating is harder then the majority of sports and probly the most to get hurt in.

You will have tons of injuries if your a true skater. Just for the warning.

 

Atleast you wont look like an uber noob when you first start.

 

I do have tight/skinny jeans lol. I just feel comfortable in them and there good for when im riding bikes like bmx with a friend other jeans get in the way.

i understand people wear them because they feel more comfortable (somehow) and like you said they don't get in the way for skateboarding or bmx n shit. Its just the majority of people ive seen who wear them do none of that and tend to be the emo kids in school. No offense if you where them for good reasons, just most people don't...

Haha ive been skating for maybe 3 years now, i wear cords, not loose and slightly not tight and blank tee's.
Just buy a board and make sure your actually skating with people.

 

oh yeah and $60 will get you a complete board at walmart. its more like $120 (complete) and above for a real skateboard from a real skate store

Well I only wear DC shirts or ELEMENT or Three Days Grace tight ones.

 

Ive been a skater boi for like 5 years now. Im what you call amazing . But i started of t3h noobz. Also, get a beanie o_0, or a DC hat or something. Nextly, when you get a board, just get a shity one, because if you actually pratice all ur tricks and stuff, it should break in about a month and a half. Also , if you cant do a trick then dont fucking give up, but try it again and again. Also, if you break your hand while doing a trick, keep going biatch?

 

I started to sk8 last year. Im good but 60$ can get you a skateboard DECk. which dosnet come with trucks, bearings, ect. But the first trick you need to get is ollie, pop-shuvit, and 180's. Those are the basic's of all basic's. And some good skater shoes are e's, emericas, and osiris. Btw message me if you need any help.

but most ppl started when they were around 10 and at 14 they are pretty
good. Just go for it. And dont worry so much about looking cool lol.

Not trying to look cool. Even though tight pants make it pretty easy not to mess up with baggy ones. And I can get about $150.00 for a good skateboard...I just want to skateboard up to my school when I got soccer practice/games and with friends.
