There's not a ban issue with your script "teleporting" the cursor to a new place? (Going from prayer icon to drinking potion)

Sorry for the late response, we just got home from a long weekend away from HQ. We have not received any news from any of our users about being banned due to the bot detection system catching the "teleportation" of the cursor. We have considered this as a potential issue, which can be fixed if detection becomes an issue. However, due to the lack of bans, we are hesitant to change the behavior of the programs.

If implemented, we would simulate a user moving their mouse between the different click location. This would include our mouse "passing over" some items in the inventory, as typical mouse movement would.

I almost wonder if the cursor placement is better than simulated mouse movement? I've been experimenting with my own private script and cant decide which to use.

 

If we remember correctly, AHK simulates the mouse movement between two cursor locations. However, the implementation of this leaves a lot to be desired, as the movement is quite fast, much faster than a user would move. The cursor also does not start to slow down as it reaches the target location, something human interaction does. One other issue we see with their implementation is that the movement to the target location is a direct line. If you move your mouse in game to an object, it is difficult to move it at such fast speeds to the exact location without having to slow down the cursor.

If necessary, we would implement a solution to fix all of these issues to make the mouse movement over the game seem more human-like. However, in this situation, we agree that teleportation does give an advantage over mouse movement, unless the mouse movement is properly implemented. We have put a decent bit of thought into how we would implement such a feature and could possibly include it in later releases of the programs.

Looks promising, going to check it out sometime later today when I have more free time.

 

Just as an update, 2 accounts have be banned after doing 9 hours each day for about 6 days straight using the Alcher.

Not sure what changed between me getting the few 99's before and now but they both got banned at the same time.

Awh well, it was good while it lasted!

Hmm, that's interesting. Thank you for letting us know. Were you running 2 instances of AutoAlch at the same time on these accounts from one computer? We could see that causing a flag to appear, as that is quite difficult to do without the use of some sort of bot or program.

 

Nope, I had 2 accounts going on 2 separate IP addresses, and 2 different laptops. I had done a few 99's prior to that with it, but these ones didn't make it. This is the only program I used on them and it got all the way to 94 magic and 95 before getting banned, I did it in the middle of World 2 Grand Exchange under a nice sized crowd the whole time so I am not sure what happened but it's cool, still a nice program.

 

Ok, thanks for the details. Thankfully, the program isn't too difficult to modify, code wise, so we can easily make some adjustments to help curb any ban issues. We will let you (and everyone else) know when improvements get made, and what changes were made.
