Bot/macroing perm banned account after update (When doing an order).

Hi guys, today I am posting this thread because it concerns me that one of the accounts of my clients have been banned after the recent update for Bot/Macroing major.

The string of events were like this:

The order was given approximately 2 weeks ago, it was a Zulrah ready account from scratch.
My client did tutorial island and supplied the account.
The account was given to me, and I began to leveled it up.
The client I used was Osbuddy free version, the account didn't have an auth or bank pin, and I used a VPN for leveling the account (IPvanish) and I did all anti-bots that were in the way, I dismiss some of them due to the impossibility of making them when getting hit while training combat.
Everything was fine, the account was almost ready, and the last thing that was left to be done was range to 75, I was skilling range in sandcrabs passively while I was working in another order from another client.
Yesterday my client told me that many of his accounts has been banned and that he needed the account to be done promptly so he could bot it. What happened next was that this morning 3 or 4 minutes after the update, I got disconnected and when I tried to log in, the account was banned.

This of course raised a question about jagex's system to ban accounts:
1: Can accounts that have been created from a computer/ip with previous offenses be affected by the offenses from other accounts from the same IP/computer even if they haven't done what is stated as the ban reason and they haven't been used for that IP/computer in a while?.
2: If the latter is true, what can you do to avoid these kind of problems when doing an order to someone who has these kind of offenses?.

I am kind of frustrated. Have you guys have had similar experiences when doing questing/skilling orders?.
PD: My client never logged in again on the account (Not that I know).

 

1. Previous offenses to not affect current accounts, so botting on an old account would not effect a new clean account.
2. Easiest way is to not use a vpn, chances are someone on the same ip as you may have been botting and they ipbanned, that would be my guess. Jagex although cunts, are actually pretty decent about their banning, use your normal ip if you plan to train an account wo bots.

 

If that's the case wouldnt all the other accounts that I am currently using should be banned aswell?. I have been working on other clients accounts with the same VPN that I have been using and no problems so far. What is curious about all this is that my client has been experiencing frequents bans of his account, so my guess is that their accounts are all linked somehow.

 

Luck of the draw then maybe? I don't know how jagex links accounts, if i did i wouldn't be on sythe, i'd be writing bot scripts lol

 

Yeah, that's why this "concerns" me, we could drain something useful out of this. I just checked other of his accounts that I have been working on aswell (he gave me two orders) and it is also banned, havent checked the ban reason tho. I checked aswell all my other accounts (including one from another client) and are all safe, so I guess it's not "luck" what defines this situation but something else that is linking the offenses between his accounts.

 

If he (the client) made the accounts, and you are now using a vpn it could cause issues in my mind at least, Jagex doesn't really care if you share accounts, but if you go from A to B and b is a known vpn jagex can suspect the account may have some fishy shit going on, if you get what I mean?

 

Yeah, I see what you mean. But as I said before if that's the case (if the vpn is known by jagex) why would the other accounts survived the update but not his?. And if A is affected (his direction) and B is not (the vpn/my address), then it is indifferent if I use a VPN or not, since the ban is got by previous offenses from another direction and not mine.
