See, I've got several Mormon friends. If anything, they don't "just believe." They're some of the most respectable and religiously devout people I know, and it's sad to see people view them as depicted in this musical "satire". Most Christians, whether they know it or not, believe basically the same material.

Honestly, I don't get why this is that funny. Most of the statements regarding their beliefs are false, and they're skewered to simply make Mormons seem like complete and utter fools. I feel it's just a new band-wagon to jump in; Making fun of the Mormons. When, in reality, any religion could be made to look just as ridiculous and far-fetched.

Then again, that's just my two cents.

 

Christianity at least has some historical accuracy. What parts do you think are falsified?
