Fix my computer / Build a good replacement

    Howdy folks,

I've been having some trouble with my computer. Every so often it'll go blue screen, crash, and on restart just beeps at me like a pissed off robot. I don't really dick around with computers much so I don't know where to start. There's no output to the screen when it beeps, it just lights up an alternates between long beeps and short beeps with pauses in between.

Anywho I think it's pretty well dicked and its already kinda old so I want to try and put together a new one myself from newegg.

Here are the parts I'm looking at:

    MSI H81M-P33 LGA 1150 Intel H81 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard - http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130731

    Intel i5 - http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819117372

    Antec VP450 - http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371045

    Seagate 2T HD - http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148834

I'd be using the same box and the rest of the scrap I can harvest from my other pos. Is this stuff all compatible and good for primarily video editing, movies and some rs?

Also if you have an suggestions for what I can try that would be appreciated in the mean time

whats your budget? also, gpu? or will you be using dedicated video memory? blah blah, from the ram? list of your old components in your old pc. Apart from that, well, cpu is good, I have it and it is very good IMO, running mine 4.0ghz perfectly with a lot of lee way... the 2tb hdd should be fine, not sure on psu but check johnny guru as he is the place to go for psus apparently :)
