[Denied] Fix Discord Emotes (if they can be fixed)

Reporting Cairo with proof - hacked and scammed.

On all of my devices the emotes pasted on Sythe from Discord are huge. I'm not sure if they appear that way for everyone, but they certainly do for most.

If this can be easily fixed it should be. While pasting disc logs is not something that we NEED to do often (or ever) it would be nice to have the option to do so without it looking horrible.

If this is something admins have no control over feel free to insta-lock

 

The way discord copy-pastes as a whole is not really sythe-friendly, its not just smileys, there are also massive gaps between every line, I've had a 100 line conversation have nearly 400 lines because theres massive gaps between every line.

It really is not meant to be copy pasted except for PM's and even then it looks messy/is not recommended.

Taking pictures is really the best way to go tbh, I'd support this but I'd be shocked to hear its something on sythes end, not discords causing the giant smileys.

 

It's on Discord's end. If you right-click on an emoji and click "Open link", it'll take you to the full-sized version of all emojis. The "official" smilies are large SVGs so that's what they appear as when they're copy and pasted.

 

Yeah I recall smileys being huge when I copy/paste for conf. PMs. IDK if its still the case cant remember a recent time.

As for the text though it isnt really a problem. For me, its copy/pasting single space format, looking kind of like IRC, so text works normal.

 

I would go to assume that images aren't size capped on here, as they are on discord, leading them to be their original size on Sythe, and not on Discord. Although this is only aesthetics I'll support it.

 

This. Since Discord logs are supposed to uploaded by screenshot, this isn't very necessary for Sythe/Shin to work on. However, with the forum redesign its possible this might be fixed.
