AlexJamesWalker - Scammer

Earlier today, AlexJamesWalker contacted me on msn about buying a COD 4 CD key from me.
We talked and talked and he convinced me to go first and give him the key while he is downloading COD4. After i gave him the key he went offline saying that he's maxing his download speed and said he will be back in 1h and 44 minutes.
After the 1h and 44 minutes have passed, he wasn't online so i sent him 2 PM's and than he appeared and said that he was gathering some funds as his paypal account had a limit.
After about 5 mins he went offline again and than he came back saying that he's PC got a blue screen and wanted to make a deal with me(if i waited 7 days he would have given me 20$) and i refused demanding that i get the money right there on the spot.
Afer some time he stopped answering and here i am posting this report.

I want to get the money for the key (5$) or atleast he should be banned.

 

Chat logs don't count as proof.

 

So, he rips me off and he even gets away with it ?

Hey, it's not out fault idiots come here and scam. We do the best we can to ban scammers and such. If I ban someone with insufficient evidence, than I'll go ahead and ban EVERY trusted user that had a report with insufficient evidence?

 

Could you please tell me how chat logs aren't evidence ?
At least send him a pm, telling him to at least answer me

 

They can be easily tampered with. And, sure, I'll do that.

 

You can also easily tamper with the chat window itself, so is that evidence ?

No you can't. You would have to use some image editing software such as photoshop. Even then, some of our staff can find out if it was tampered with.
