I need some VPS help

So I've recently purchased a VPS from Virpus ($5\month). I have absolutely no idea what I'm looking at right now. If someone could guide me through the basic steps to setting it up, I'd really appreciate it.

what's in the pic is the online control pannel. You use that to basically start/stop/reboot the vps.

to set it up what you're going to need is an SSH connection (puTTY for windows users, Terminal for Mac/Linux users)
Also you'll need an VNC viewer (UltraVNC for windows, ChickenOfTheVNC for Mac)
