First time PKing and I got destroyed .. LOL. Any tips?

So I botted my account to;

52 Constitution
1 Attack
80 Strength
1 Def
60 Range

So clearly It's an Obby Mauler. My inventory consisted of a Ring of Recoil, Super Strength Potion, Range Potion, My Obby Maul, and the rest filled with monk fishes. I had on:

Helmet - Iron Full Helm ; any other suggestions for future pking?
Amulet - Amulet of Power ; should I use strength? For welfare PKing until I can afford Zerker necklace.
Top - Iron Chainbody ; any other suggestions for future pking?
Bottom - Red D'hide Legs
Ring - Ring of Recoil ; plus the one in my inventory.
Boots - Iron Boots
Gloves - Combat Brace
Cape - Obsidian Cape
Primary Weapon - Rune Knives

So basically what I did was walk around Edgey and when someone attacked me, I started to fight lol (obv is obv). He was also an obby mauler, and I did the strategy people told me to do .. "Weaken with knives, pull out maul to finish." but I just CAN'T seem to do it at the right time to combo. Now, this is my first time PKing, even though I played during the years of old wildy. Any specific tips at all when trying this again? I'm botting to get more money anyway, for the old wildy return.

It's about 42, so it was hard to find anyone.

 

A zerker neck is a MUST but if you really have to then use a strength ammy.

 

Zerker ammy for one, when I was an obby mauler I didn't even use a dagger. If you use a dagger, just use it to poisin them. Mauler + zerker is PLENTY to kill someone.

 

Oh, no I can't wield a DDS if that's what you thought, unless you meant dagger as in knives. Well how do I time when to whip out my maul while throwing knives to combo is my question. D:

 

Actually, most people just range and use the maul hoping for the lucky KO.

So like knife twice, maul, repeat. there's no timing to it, just luck.

 

Higher range, practice your timing on when to whip out the GMAUL. Also, use a rune c'bow + dragon bolts (e) as an added offensive combat effect.

 

You need a zerker neck, badly. Wait till FT and you can non-skull without the risk of loosing your neck

its probably the fact that you can do more damage with a rune cbow, then you can with your obbymaul atm

 

get a higher defence, it may not look cool, but its more practicale

 

you really need some attack

Might as well get prayer, magic, attack, and HP right?...lol


Anyways, you need a Zerker Neck. Otherwise, just weaken to below 3/4 your max hit and switch. A lot of luck is needed though.
