First Thread Layout ||| CnC Greatly Appreciated

This is the really first thread layout I've made, and I need everyone's opinions on it.

Only thing I would really do is tinker with the font and change the sythe background to some sort of carbon fiber or other material. I think changing the font and background would tie into the theme you've got going on more.

 

that nice the only thing i see is msparks premium could be dif font / color or just remove it i dont see a need for it, its just cluttering up the top. what i would do is remove it and move every thaing but you logo up.
and like sports said, i would change the blue to some sort of black and them take some of the yellow out of that render. i can see what you was going for with the blue but the silver interface part at the top make a definite separation from sythes bg. so if you went with some sort of black or carbon fiber i thank it will fit better with the red.

 

I like it, I'd say make it wider to fit more into the sythe page and
Make the bear claw gfx in a little bigger font.

 

The overall design and colors contrast well with one another, good job with that.

The text and effects in the middle seem faint, my eyes get drawn away to the more sharper c4d renders. Try making the text "pop" more so it's easier to follow.

Good job MP, great first layout.

 

I made it 800 width so it fits better when you look at it with a mobile phone.

I'm no amazing GFX artist, nor a great critique, but this layout is great. Very nice, and the colours compliment and contrast each other very nicely. Very simple and not too in your face, keep it up.

 

I'm in the same boat as ASAPGANG, I'm not much of a graphics artist but I'll leave my thoughts anyway.

I think that its a really good looking layout, I'd like to see it with the tinted background in black instead and see how it looks for comparison.

dude that looks way better. it pops more. maybe instead of all black have a slight radial gradient. not too noticeable but have it there, it will give it that detail. then maybe do diagonal lines like make a pattern. then set the opacity way dow like in the 10-30s an maybe put the layer mode on overlay and in the lighter parts there will be the diagonal lines.
these things are stuff that not most people will notice but it will be more visually pleasing to the eye, and other designers will notice the detail.
i learned in school a few days ago that even somthing on 3% opacity can add to your design.

NOTE: now that you are getting better i will be giving you harsh cnc dont take it the wrong way, just the harsher i am the better you will get. it will help you increase your visual iniquity.

EDIT: oh yeah the red behind sig avatar an thread layout, take a fuzzy brush an lower the opacity on it an go over it, its kinda distracting.
EDIT ageing lol srr : i just saw the pattern you got on the black i dident see that at firs so scratch the diagonal lines.

I'd still like to see a change to the text, make it blend more with the CADs you have on each side of the layout itself.

 

Very nice. Hand drawn backdrop? The inset font looks great, too. I would make the other fonts stand out a bit more, and yes, maybe change the pricing fonts. I would also make the overall size of the thread layout larger, around 1100px by 1800px (could be cropped later) to give you some room to work with. Other than that, the carbon fiber background on it looks awesome, too. Good lighting! Good job.

You should work on the title text and the overall quality of the design.
To me it looks a tad blurry and the text is too dull.

Overall is it amazing for a first layout.

 

Bottom one is better, looks good, you've done a good job (Y)
