Reinstalled photoshop (some licensing error, hmmm) and forgot to backup brushes so I don't have my splatters anymore :(. I download A splatter brush.
I'm trying to regain my skills (which aren't so good in the first place), so I made this:

    V1:

Not my best, added some c4ds, gradient maps, a bit of smudging and clipping masks. I named it Dragon Girl because if you look in the background, there is a dragon and she is a girl lol.

    V2: [IMG]

    Different gradient map, same stuff.

    C&C is appreciated.

Oh and if anybody wants to use this, go ahead (it would be nice if you could write "made by draucia" on the bottom in very small letters or something).

EDIT: Tried something new, added a reflecetion:

    V1:

    V2:

EDIT AGAIN: Just noticed, the reflections are too strong :(.

lol i like v2 , with the reflection im not sure i like the way you can see it as a whole rectangle if you know what i mean , the straight line on the reflection , although its got nice flow my eyes are drawn towards the orange blob on the right side of her other than the focus :p, nice work tho i need to reinstall ps and try get my talent back xd :)

I think your main error and the reason why you aren't progressing as fast as your potential allows you is because of the way you use your c4ds and the ones you use. I've seen the same pattern emerging throughout most of your newer tags.

Instead of slapping an abstract c4d on lighten/screen/linear dodge etc.. you need to start using effect c4ds in ways that compliment the flow and/or depth of the piece. The colour doesn't particularly matter as you can change the hue.

You don't usually change the layer style of an abstract c4d, however you do need to resize/erase/add parts on to it and place it in a position at doesn't ruin the composition, flow or depth.

You don't even need to use a c4d to make a sig.

c4ds are just there to help you add effects; they're not essential to every tag.

I suggest you read some tuts on c4d usage.

    Thanks for your feedback. :)

Well I tried to use a c4d that matches it, and tried to follow the main flow. She has this axe or something, so I made the c4ds kinda going horizontal. I especially like the first one you showed me, it has nice colors and everything. I'm going to take this into consideration and make a new tag. Thanks, Desu :).
